College curling teams from Creighton University, the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln compete on Sundays from 12pm-2pm in Aksarben Curling's College League running from September through March.
Our College Curling program costs $150 per student annually paid through a student's college club. Dues cover all ice time, equipment, insurance and Aksarben Curling membership. Aksarben offers Learn to Curl sessions for college curlers. College dues also cover affiliation with the USA Curling college competitive program.
Students paying membership dues to Aksarben Curling are eligible to compete in USA Curling sanctioned college bonspiels across the United States and earn points in college sanctioned events. The top 16 college teams earning the most points in competition may become eligible for an invitation to the National College Curling Championship, a USA Curling sanctioned annual event.

For eligibility as a college curler, students must be attending their school full-time (12 hours/semester undergrad or 9 hours/semester graduate) and be a member of a recognized student organization at their institution. If a school does not currently have a recognized student curling organization, the Aksarben College Coordinator is available at no charge to the student and college to help start a student curling club. Although faculty and staff are not eligible to curl with students, they are welcome to curl with adult leagues at Aksarben Curling.
