Should your opponent not be available (3 or more curlers not available to begin) to start the game as the ice is ready, please inform your league-representative. USCA Rule R11-i (see below) shall be enforced against teams not prepared to play in a reasonably timely manner. The time of delay shall begin recording when the following conditions are met:
- One team is prepared to play and the other is not.
- The league commissioner or someone designated as 'in-charge' has been informed that a team is not ready to play at the start of draw time.
- All games featuring both teams ready to play have delivered their first stone.
If you suspect you may be late for a draw, please inform your teammates and your opponents. This rule may not be enforced under extenuating circumstances (e.g., a severe weather situation, family emergency, limited parking due to a Mavericks Hockey game). We encourage people to use the Spirit of Curling with this rule.

(ii) If the delay of the start of play is 15:00-29:59 minutes (10:00-19:59 for Mixed Doubles), then the non-offending team receives one additional point, and choice of first or second stone in the first end of actual play; two ends are considered completed.
(iii) If play has not started at 30 minutes (20 minutes for Mixed Doubles), then the non-offending team is declared the winner by forfeit.
(j) The final score of a forfeited game is recorded as “W – L” (win – loss).
